Weddings That Last
This is the first of a nine part series of articles. It is nearly impossible for anyone to give a completely objective review of this administration because it has been so polarizing. Overall, I believe this administration has done some pretty historical things. These things, I believe, are not going to be remembered positively. Never in the history of this country has a president been so opportunistic with its leadership of the country, and represented his own interests so exclusively in conflict with the foundational values of the constitution. What follows is a list of the things I have noticed over the first year in office. I'm not a political expert, and I don't intend to be a political pundit, but the issues will affect our finances. This is something we need to pay attention to and respond in a way that will help us preserve what we have worked hard for. First, Obama's administration has had a noticeably extreme policy on responding to critics. The strategy has clearly been to smear all opponent's character and reputations, rather than address the issue the critic brings up. There has been an enthusiastic avoidance of debate in the public domain over these issues. There has also been a strategy to avoid debate in the House and Senate, shutting out Republicans from the forming of legislation with their super majority. As a result, the legislation that has been passed has been three times as large as the average legislation because of the unrelated earmarks that have been included to insure passage. This is coming from an administration that promised to do away with lobbyists, or at least minimize their influence on the legislative process, and to have open debate on C-Span on all discussions on important issues.
Surprisingly, I found that the statement made by a number of people in the Obama administration, have said that you should "never waste a good crisis," including Hillary Clinton. What this really meant escaped me until I started understanding the progressive agenda. It painted a picture that really began to concern me, but it clarified the seemingly irrational decisions made by our Federal Government during the onset of the economic crisis. I began to see that if you looked at the situation from the progressive point of view, the logic of the decisions made sense. They would further the effort to grow the Federal Government and further subjugate the citizens of the country to them, while the people of the country think the Federal Government is saving the day.
I know there are some sweeping statements I am making here, but I will discuss them more thoroughly in this series. These are things that have been largely not covered in the news media, yet are revealing. There are facts that many are ignoring, though slowly these things are coming to the light. I'm confident it will make a difference in how people vote in the coming Senate elections.

Just a truckload of evidence that this administration is advancing a progressive agenda, squeezed into 9 articles. Please log in to respond to this comment.FYI, if you read on you will learn why progressivism has become code for a new version of communism. I wouldn't have believed that six months ago, but with some of the things I've seen said and the actions of some in this administration, I can't deny it.Please log in to respond to this comment.
