Weddings That Last
There are many people in the Obama administration that we need to take note of. In the last article I mentioned a few of the Czars. There are a few other people I will mention here.
Mark Lloyd Chief Diversity Officer. This is a Czar that has been targeting conservative radio. He sees the popularity of conservative talk radio as a threat to the government, and that it needs to be addressed. He believes the fairness doctrine doesn't go far enough in controlling what is broadcast. He believes the government needs to further regulate media content. Fox News uncovered a video which can now be found on You Tube, where Mr. Lloyd is praising Hugo Chavez and his "incredible revolution" which resulted in his control of the media. He has also been quoted saying how he believes that whites need to step down from power so that blacks, gays, and other people of color can take their place. In fact, there is a recording of him talking about this that Fox News also aired.
At one point in this last year, Obama became so frustrated with the facts that Fox News was exposing on their news program about his administration that he began to attempt discrediting them. He even hired someone on his staff to oversee the effort. He hired Anita Dunn. Glenn Beck responded by installing a red phone on the set and asked Anita to call him whenever he gets the facts wrong. She never called except once the Whitehouse sent an email stating that Van Jones' title was not a Czar. Then he aired a video of a speech Ms. Dunn made where she praised Chariman Mao as the "philosopher she turned to most". This is the same guy who was in charge of murdering 70 million people through policies and political purges. He led communist China from 1949 until his death in 1976. Soon after, Ms. Dunn was reassigned. It is interesting to also note that Ron Bloom, the Car Czar, also praises Mao and his idea that power comes from the barrel of a gun, which he is seen saying in a video of one of his speeches. Also, this last Christmas, Chairman Mao adorned the Whitehouse Christmas tree on an ornament. So the question is raised. Is this administration seeking to change our government to a communist one that follows Marxists economic policies and follows the philosophies of the great dictators of history? The president doesn't say these things on TV, but the philosophies of the various people in his administration come out in the open and paint an alarming picture.
Andy Stern is another interesting character. He is the head of SEIU (Service Employees International Union). He meets with the president regularly. Obama spoke at an SEIU meeting during his campaign and promised to make them a top priority and continue the work he has been doing for them for many years. It is clear that he is closely connected to the unions and seeks to further their agenda in public policy. This is also obvious with the latest news about the Healthcare bill where unions will be exempt from the 40% Cadillac healthcare plan tax and will likely be made up on the shoulders of non-union employees in the economy. One administration member told the media that the reason they believe this is fair is because the union employees have union representation that negotiated contracts, and congress is seeking to honor their contracts until they expire. However, I'm sure that doesn't sit well with the former bondholders at GM and Chrysler whose contracts were violated in favor of the unions. How do we decide which contracts to honor, and which ones we don't? How do you know anymore if your contract is really enforceable?
