In case you hadn't had time to read the 1017 page bill, here are key points to consider. This is only a partial list. I'm still working through the rest. Page 21-22 – The government will audit the books of large group insured and self-insured employers within 18 months of the date the bill becomes law.
Page 29 – lines 4-16 – Healthcare is rationed to $5,000 per year per individual and $10K per family, and increased annually according to the CPI (Consumer Price Index).
Page 42 – The Health Care Commissioner will choose what benefits you will receive.
Page 50 – Section 152 (the entire section) – Healthcare will be provided to non-taxpaying illegal aliens and all non-citizens.
Page 58 – The government will have real-time access to each individual's personal finances and a National I.D. Health Card will be issued.
Page 59 line 21 through Page 60 line 12– The government will require you have direct access to your bank accounts for elective funds transfers. In other words they will charge your account at will for healthcare.
Page 65 Section 164 - This section of the bill is a political payoff to unions and community organizations such as ACORN. They will be reimbursed for the cost of benefits.
Page 72 lines 8-14 – The government is creating a healthcare exchange to centrally control private healthcare insurance plans and provide the public option to compete with them. This public option has an unfair price advantage and will not be prevented from driving all private plans out of business.
Page 84 Section 203 – The government will mandate that the benefits offered under all private health insurance plans in the exchange.
Page 85 line 7 – This section (c) outlines how plans will be rationed, this should especially concern AARP members.
Page 91 lines 4-7 – The government mandates "culturally and linguistically appropriate services and communication" to provide for illegal aliens and non-citizens. Taxpayers will end up paying for these extra services.
Page 95 lines 8-18 – The government will use community organizations such as ACORN and Americorp to sign up individuals for the public option.
Page 102 lines 12-18 – Individuals who qualify for Medicaid will automatically be enrolled, there will be no choice by the individual in the matter.
Page 124 lines 24-25 – No one can sue the government for fixing health insurance prices that will drive private insurance companies out of business, leaving citizens with no choice but the public option. This shuts out the Judicial branch for any accountability on the government's health insurance monopoly.
Page 127 lines 1-16 - The government will regulate how much money healthcare providers can earn. This is particularly offensive once private insurance providers are driven out of the market.
Page 145 lines 15-17 – All employers must auto-enroll employees into the public plan. Employees have no choice in the matter.
Page 149 lines 16-24 – Employers with payrolls of $400k and above will have to pay an 8% tax on their gross payroll if they don't provide the public option.
Page 150 lines 9-13 – Employers that don't provide the public option to employees with payrolls of $251k to $400k will pay a 2-6% tax on gross payroll.
Page 167 – Private citizens will be required by law to have healthcare insurance coverage that is deemed acceptable by the Federal Government or will be taxed 2.5% of taxable income as defined in this section.
Page 170 lines 1-3 – Non resident aliens are exempt from an individual taxes, even though they are provided health care benefits with taxpayer money.
Page 195 – The Federal Government will have access to all tax returns to determine what the taxpayer can afford according to their assessment, and will have access to all personal and financial records of individuals for this purpose.
Page 203 lines 14-15 – Redefines the taxes under this section as something other than a tax. The tax is not a tax and will not be treated as a tax.
Page 239 lines 14-24 – Medicaid benefits are reduced for seniors and low income beneficiaries.
Page 241 lines 6-8 – All doctors regardless of the services provided will be paid the same.
Page 253 lines 10-18 – The government determines the value of all services and judgments performed by doctors, which leads to the value of a person's life.
Page 265 Section 1131 – The government will mandate the productivity requirements for all private healthcare businesses.
